Zoia N Wiseman

Zoia Wiseman is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA and grew up the youngest of three daughters. She is an actress and singer and has worked both on and off stage across the Mid-Atlantic, in Northern Ireland, and in California. Some of her favorite work includes Helga ten Dorp in Deathtrap, Iolanthe in Iolanthe, and originating the role of Helena Scmidt in Invisible Women by Pamela August Russell. On Stage Zoia has performed with Nu Sass, Michael Rosman Entertainments, and SLO rep. In TV and film she has worked with Farmer Pig Productions, Sirens Media, Double R Productions, and several student projects.

She holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri where she trained under Brett Prentiss and Adison Myers and a Diploma of Graduate Studies in Performance and Drama Studies from Queen's University Belfast. Currently she is pursuing a MFA in Television, Film, and Theatre at Cal State LA. Zoia is working on deepening her craft, exploring Voice and Speech with Knight-Thompson Speechwork under the direction of Roberto Alcaraz, Classical Acting with Rob Clare, and Mary Overlie’s Viewpoints with Tanya Kane-Parry. In addition to her University Course work Zoia has had the opportunity to take various master classes with Jane Taylor, Aja Marneweck, and The Hand Spring Puppet Company.
In addition works on the technical side of theater as a Stage Manager and Lighting Designer, working with Solas Nua, Nu Sass, theHegira, Catalyst Theatre, PCPA, and several others. She is a mentor and teacher to emerging artists and has taught at the Sitar Center in Washington DC, been a guest lecturer at Howard University, and Professor of Stage Management at Allan Hancock College with PCPA.
